Postdoctoral Database for Building Collaboration at the Physics of Life Interface
Following the funding announcement of £15 million allocated to 'Building Collaboration at the Physics of Life interface’ this scheme will be funding a number of projects requiring post docs with both physics and biology backgrounds who are interested in joining teams working across the interface. The announcement of the grants will be in mid-March for a start on April 1, so although such positions WILL be available it is not possible to say at this point WHERE. In order to expedite the hiring process, the Physics of Life network will host a database where individuals can submit their CVs and research interests for consideration as a potential post doctorate applicant on funded projects. Details of individuals on this database will only be shared with investigators who are successfully awarded a grant from this funding stream. This database offers no guarantees to those submitting, but aims to facilitate matching of potential post docs with any relevant funded projects. It remains the responsibility of potential applicants to follow individual institutional recruitment processes.
Please note, this database is for potential post doctoral researchers only. Submitters must have been awarded their PhD or have completed their PhD by April 1 2019. If you are not already on the Physics of Life mailing alert, please consider completing our online form which allows members to stay updated with the latest news and updates related to the Physics of Life.
