Physics of Life Town Meetings

The aim of our Physics of Life Town meetings has been to bring the community together during a one day large event. The town meetings have broad scientific content designed to address our cross-diciplinary community which consists of life (from biology and medicine) and physical scientists (from chemistry, physics, engineering, maths) .These meetings always engage relevant funding bodies (UKRI; EPSRC, BBSRC, MRC, Wellcome, Cancer Research UK) who have always been extremely supportive of the network and open to providing up to date funding advice and opportunity for direct dialogue. We have been delighted that attendance to all of our town meetings has always been high and over-subscribed. During PoLNet2 we held 3 Town hall meetings.
