Physics of Life Town Meeting 2019

3 December 2019
Royal Society, London, Wellcome Trust Lecture Hall

Meeting Overview

We invite you to join the Physics of Life Town meeting which will bring together the well established community to conclude the second phase of the Physics of Life Network (PoLNET2; 2017-2020). This interdisciplinary meeting will be packed with a mix of invited speakers, introductions to projects funded through the Physics of Life Collaboration fund, a review of PolNET2's achievements, open discussions with research councils and a lunchtime student poster session. We are delighted to also be joining forces with BBS. All are welcome to join this meeting!

Purpose

The idea of this meeting is to bring together people from biology and physics backgrounds to discuss and showcase the interdisciplinary collaborative opportunities and benefits available from the perspectives of research, industry and funding.

Who should attend?

This meeting should be of broad interest to anyone working within and across life and physical sciences. We invite participation from all interested parties including academic, industrial and UK funders who are interested in generating new collaborative research interactions at the physical/life sciences interface.
